I have worked across three continents so far, in roles from deep in the dish pit to running around as operations manager. 

 

I love how our industry invites people from all walks of life to participate in spectacular everyday experiences.  

 

I've personally experienced both huge highs and lows in the industry and at times I've had some awesome people reach out and help me when they have seen I've needed it.  I’ve also seen first hand how helping can have a positive impact on someone else and yourself.

 

Life isn’t straightforward and curveballs happen, people have rough times you don’t even know are happening and I truly believe that any opportunity to help should be taken.  Ive always cared deeply about peoples emotions and the more I explored with the people in our in our industry the more I wanted to provide better support to those that want it.

 

As I read about the Burnt Chef project I knew immediately that I wanted to join the growing community of hospo legends who just want to help and F#%K Stigma. Be vocal, be proud and be honest.  That’s how we can really help shape our industry for the better.
